Pros

Benefits start the first day of the month after you start. 3 weeks of vacation (prorated based off of start date), fed holidays off, cheap insurance, advancement opportunities. Entry level employees pay was increased to compete with market.

Cons

Company can spend millions on upgrades but give employees penny raises. Sending jobs oversees paying them less than a tenth of what they pay an entry associate here. Pay from entry to 200 not much of an increase.

Pros

There is ability to work from home and flexible work arrangements. Depending on the client you work on, you may get decent industry exposure.

Cons

Extremely low salary and historically low annual merit increase/performance bonus because the company is perpetually cutting costs due to "challenging headwinds", and rather than Innovate or go after new opportunities, they choose to offshore, layoff and keep compensation low. Senior leadership in the Sacramento office is uninspiring and stagnant. Promotions are very political and playing golf or fantasy football with VPs seems to further your career more than actual hard work and value to the company and client. Turnover is very high and the strongest employees do not stick around long. The work is very operational and siloed with little opportunity for decision making. Overall the company feels very cheap and does not instill a sense of pride or confidence in the future.

Pros

Flexibility, great benefits, fun people to work with, laid back atmosphere. I would reco.mend to anyone that is wanting to start a career in finance or business.

Cons

Too much red tape, slow to change and making decisions. State street could be much more competitive with hiring if they paid more and retained bright people. Their benefits are becoming less and less each year which has been dissapointing. Not enough peoe to co.ete the work because of the red tape.
