Location in Chicago close to public transportation.

Cons

I joined Stats Perform because they were supposed to be an AI (artificial intelligence) company. In 2020 we lost our most senior data scientists, due to badgering and mistreatment by the company. The Youtube video for Stats Perform AI shows these great people. Only one of them is still at Stats Perform. All progress on AI at Stats Perform is dead, I left the company for better opportunities!

A lot of 'boots on the ground' are great people. Working in sports. Good 401K.

Cons

Company and specifically the executive team care little about their people - they're all just numbers on a spreadsheet. Numerous rounds of layoffs, before and during the pandemic. People constantly leaving or getting fired. Rather than focus on what made this company great, it's been all about new products, most of which have failed to this point. Tons of mismanagement from the top, hurting the future of what was once a terrific organization and well respected in the field.

Was an amazing company, still amazing products. and some great team members to work with.

Indecisive and inept management. (some have since been terminated) Private Equity mindset: trim jobs, outsource data collections, double prices on long time existing and legacy clients, office closures, found out we were for sale from a yahoo news article, etc.
