Pros

High base pay, unlimited amount of leads of people who are actually looking to get insurance. Many of the people we deal with are investors and landlords with large portfolios so there’s is a huge opportunity for generating a large amount of premium and commissions. Been doing insurance my whole life and never had such a responsive lead base. Work remotely.

Cons

Long hours due to the fact that there is so much incoming business.

Pros

Alot of great carriers and options to help clients. A really good market for landlords in the investment space.

Cons

Total lack of transparency and overnight changes that will hobble your ability to work effectively. Constant and consistent tech issues. "Team" structure but dont allow you to help each other and I was actually encouraged to swipe leads from your "team" creating a cut throat environment. You have to share an email with 4-5 other people and your phone won't reliably route calls to you. Basically adjusting from an independent agent to a call center environment geico clone overnight with no forewarning. Commision structure is very misleading and there are currently more ways lose percentages of your commission than earn it.

Pros

Strong income opportunity. Top agents are clearing $200k+. Stock options Work from home isn’t being offered for future hires but they’ve honored it for existing agents who were hired remote

Cons

Definitely not an easy 9-5. The agents are all slammed with leads and it’s tough to keep up. The company’s also made a lot of changes to the team structure recently so we’ll see how those play out but so far so good.
