Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave a review, it is great to read that you gained good experience of PR in New York. Having trainees in the business allows people with typically less experience the chance to elevate their expertise and we have great success stories of people who started in junior roles, who have gone on to progress within the company.

Pros

Great company culture, generous pay and benefits, store management and team was fantastic at the time I worked there, and Stella herself is a wonderful, down to earth person who cares very much about her employees and about environmental impact and responsibility. Involved and caring team and corporate. A really fun and wonderful company to work for, where I learned and grew a lot.

Cons

None, I worked at a great store with great team members and management. It was a really fantastic time in my career path that I wish I could repeat. Rare atmosphere to find.

Pros

I completely agree with this review, "You get to see the inner workings of a fashion house. If you think you want to work in house, this is a great opportunity to see how fashion houses are run. If you take the internship seriously (i.e. on time everyday, show enthusiasm, act like you want to learn, and put effort into your tasks) you will get a lot out of it and get to do more. If you don't take the internship seriously (i.e. late everyday, rarely show … " (this review was below, made by a former intern) If you work hard and prove yourself, which I have found is a rarity among fashion interns these days, ( I have found a lot of them think they are above doing mundane tasks like getting coffee, etc..) listen you are an intern you need to prove yourself. YOU ARE AT THE BOTTOM. Acting like your too good for this is not going to help you in this industry at all, don't be snooty and don't be afraid to get your hands dirty... it will not go unnoticed. They will go above and beyond to help you out with getting more jobs or internships after this one if you prove yourself to them.

Cons

I admit that it is a little disorganized, but hey it is a smaller company with a smaller office.. and honestly the people that have made it disorganized were all careless interns, it all comes together and things happen but they use Fashion GPS which is a great software for keeping track of samples and trust me will make your lives a lot easier.

Hi, We always hope that our interns join with the intention of getting involved in as much as possible, just as you mentioned. This is one of the best ways to see what it is like to work in-house! With this feedback, we can also work on improving the structure.
