Commendable work, great team environment (among staff)

Cons

Upper management was continuously inconsistent in policy implementation (would have different rules for different people), hold managers accountable (to the same standards as the direct care staff).

Pros

Meaningful work. Relaxed atmosphere. This is a fun job for those looking for something different. Generous leave police.

Cons

The leadership is unorganized. The pay is not great. Problems are not addressed in a reasonable amount of time.

* Mission-driven work * Purposeful work ~ feel like you have made a difference * Rapport developed between employees (team) * Excellent training (initial and continuous) * Staff who are passionate about what they do * My immediate supervisor and the recruiter were always professional and helpful my entire duration of employment (and beyond)

Cons

* Responsibilities/expectations * LOW PAY * It is difficult to maintain good staff in a field that is notorious for low wages and high work load
