- Lofty KPIs/Quotas (100 dials, 100 door knocks, 18 Opportunities, 15 new in-person meetings, 6 follow-up meetings, 8 quotes sent, 4 deals sold for $5,200 every week) - Judged on quota weekly and KPIs daily. - Bad customer service. - Bad system data. - Tenured employees complained so I felt it wouldn't get better. - Felt like I was being told to lie about cancellation policy. - Was in the process of being bought out by WM. - Could only sell a recurring shredding service to smaller companies. (No purge jobs, or large corporations, or hospitals.) - I didn't believe in the service. - Shredding documents is not legally required like the medical side of the business was. - We were told to sell subscription monthly billing which always had problems and no one wanted. - Required more than 40 hours per week to actually do correctly. - Micromanager/Naggy - Pointless 7:30am meetings every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. - Reps were just squeezed dry, not actually cared about. - Hard to be collaborative because everyone was so busy with all of the work they had to do. - Insane coworker who made me pick him up from his house one day because he crashed his car the night before while drunk and on pills. - Manager allegedly having relations with one of their employees.
