Horrible work/life balance for management

Pros

Decent benefits although way too expensive

Cons

Dangerous work environment, two explosions and a cyanide spill and still upper management does nothing but micromanage it’s managers. Poor pay for management but do expect to work 50 to 60+ hours a week as norm. Staff that think PPE is unnecessary and they can get away with anything. Undertrained staff that doesn’t even understand calculations for specific gravity in the lab which is extremely scary. Falsifying data by and the list goes on and on. Never managed a lab that scared me as much as this one did and I have 20 plus years of lab experience.

Pros

Good work schedule and benefits.

Cons

The company cares very little about it's employees. They have envaded personal privacy by installing driver facing camera in a sleeper truck. They have a ridiculous no phone policy while driving. Really makes it hard for a long haul Driver to communicate with management and his family. Plus the job is boring to begin with and now you can't even talk to anyone to help pass the time. Personally I wouldn't recommend driving long haul for these guys if you take a local straight truck job would be ok at least you stop all day long and can call your family.

Pros

The industry has many career paths, and is backed by state and federal regulations. As far as the company’s itself, not many pros.

Cons

Commission structure and management is constantly changing. High turnover rate in all departments. Too many internal issues limiting the sales reps ability to succeed.
