IT is not a great place to work

Pros

Benefits and compensation tends to be fair. They do make a solid effort to drive Diversity and Inclusion values.

Cons

Severely disorganized from the top down and heavily siloed. Several years of lack of IT direction which was made worse by the recent WM acquisition has left the IT department basically non-functional. They have great PaaS solutions, but did not complete full implementation. Most homegrown applications have had technical debt ignored like it is the job. There is no QA group or PMO to speak of. To say working in IT at stericycle is an uphill battle is a dramatic understatement. Ongoing development and support of existing software is extrodinarily hard.
