Pros

The relationships built with co-workers.

Cons

Where to start. They pay is abysmal for what you are doing. I was in the Shred-it division. They sale you the moon and stars and then just never deliver on a single thing. I was doing the job of a Warehouse Supervisor on top of being a plant Lead and warehouse associate and was not compensated fairly for the amount of work and effort I put in on a daily basis. I didn't get the back up I needed either from management as far as dealing with insubordination with warehouse personnel. I gave them a 2 month notice to try and come up with something as far as pay but I got zilch. I asked Maison Bitner every week for updates regarding this and was repeatedly told we are working on it. I was also told by Timothy Warren to just hang in there and just do what I could to show the company what I could do ( as if I hadn't done that for years ). I tried to switch positions as well and I was told "you're good where you're at. " Stericycle pays way below the average for the kind of work it is. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them if you want to be a warehouse person. If you want to be a driver then prepare to deal with Diva drivers who are extremely entitled. There is a handful of good guys there, but not enough. All of this was at the Coppell, TX. location.

Pros

Two weeks vacations, free uniforms.

Cons

Picking up, humans remains from forensics, amputated body parts from Hospitals Big chance of getting a airborne disease. They dont provide latex gloves and all trucks are audio/visual recording In and out the cab. Even if not driving. All trucks have telematics if you do a hard brake. They give you a coaching talk and make you sign a waver. You work under surveillance all the time truck and at the branch yard and inside the office with audio/visual recording. They micro manage you. Non stop. There is no sense of job security at all.
