      Reasonable, but didn't understand the businesses they were buying

      Pros

      The teams and departments within the wider group all seem relatively friendly, and try their best to understand each area of the business.

      Cons

      The company I worked for was bought by the SRCL Group who's strategy is growth through aquisition. We had no link to the Medical environment what-so-ever, and were purchased for the potential use of our systems. The employees of the companies being bought up need to be aware of the job market and maybe take advantage of it.

      Pros

      Global company in the hospital waste stream industry. Freedom to work from home with travel to hospital accounts. Mobile phone and laptop provided.

      Cons

      Poor communication among divisions. Poor pay scale in comparison with median pay grades. Poor opportunity for advancement. Corporate office seems out of touch with what actually happens in the field.

      Pros

      It's a good job to have (temporary). But it won't be enough to pay for anything. The hours are flexible, so great for anyone in school.

      Cons

      Expect to work work work, without seeing a cent rise in your paycheck.
