Pros
During my time stericycle there were most certainly ups and downs, but it was the people I worked alongside that were second to none. I enjoyed my experience here and recommend it to anyone who is an aspiring young environmental professional looking to get experience in hazardous materials work.
Cons
Working around hazardous materials was dangerous, and most of the time you were expected to manage yourself. I actually quite enjoyed the autonomy I was given, but there were many who struggled that didn't know how to think critically or take on high stress projects. If you're a wet blanket in high stress situations, then this probably isn't the job for you.
