Pros

They are a trucking company

Cons

It's a constant hassle, I guess they think if they hassle you about the nit pickiest things you won't have time to realize your not making anything. Gone 3-4 weeks at a time and making 650- 750 per week if lucky. Most of their long time drivers have criminal history and cant go anywhere else. Being on the yard in Dallas is like being in a sci fi zombie movie where desperation and misery lock you in. Talk to some other drivers and you'll see for whatever reason they are there it's not the good pay or feelings of pride that come with a company that values it's employees(zombies). Empty promises.Students watch out. They'll use you as a ploy to keep other drivers(trainers) happy by saying the students will drive your miles and take all the risk on their cdl while you can get payed more and sleep all the time. Students must complete 240 hours, by far most in industry, about 25,000 miles then come back and spend another week of driver testing. As if 25000 accident ticket free time is not eough, then jump through more hoops then wait on your "new" truck. Spoiler alert- it's not a new truck and a lot have breakdowns frequently. If you have a breakdown or one of the many other qualifiers to that "guaranteed"1000 a week pay check guess what? You don't get that 1000 a week "guaranteed" paycheck. That's another one of the many emty promises. I could go on but do your own research and take my experience for what it is. Time I wish I could get back.

Pros

None at all, there is no reason to work here

Cons

Aside from the abusive environment, unprofessional management, low pay, long hours, and no growth there is a huge issue with discrimination and it is imperative that you RECORD ALL CONVERSATIONS WITH MANAGEMENT so you can do something if you are a victim. Texas is a one party consent state so you are allowed to do this and you are also stopping a disgusting practice at this company.

Pros

Most Co-workers are good people. If you want to, as some do, you can be completely useless as an employee and not really give a crap and you still wont get fired as long as you don't rock the boat.

Cons

Culture of Status Quo. Little interest in how to do things better and a willing blindness to the fact that there just aren't enough eyeballs on the job to even find issues in a timely manner, much less be able to do anything about them.
