Alright jobs for the short term

Pros

Work along side of a lot of friendly people.

Cons

Overworked for such little pay. Promotions aren't fully promotions. You take on a new position, but still have to fulfill responsibilities from previous position.

Pros

Decent benefits, good vacation and sick time, some managers are easy to work with and truly care about their employees.

Cons

Pay is not competive with other similar businesses in the local area. Employees are required to fulfill the need of multiple positions with unrealistic expectations and goals. Employees are expected to regularly preform tasks outside of their job descriptions and completely unrelated to their jobs, sometimes with personal legal consequences for the indiviual employee not necessarily the company. Upper management does not always take the concerns of employees seriously and will terminate/discipline employees based more on personal feeling rather than job performance. There is not very much advancement opportunity.

Stine lumber is a great company to work for. They are willing to work around a students schedule and still alow you to have time to study for your classes

Cons

Have to work weekend and other holidays. There are times that they have all hands on deck the shipping drivers helping load customers for major sales
