Pros

Has the latest office technology.

Cons

Non-attorneys are treated as insignificant and unimportant. Very discouraging to those who take their career seriously.

Pros

For the most part, it's an enjoyable work environment with friendly people and a professional culture.

Cons

Management is very inept. All the good people end up leaving because of the opaque compensation system that only rewards certain people with the right connections.

Pros

Fiscally sound, one doesn't need to be concerned that a paycheck might bounce. There were some lay-offs due to the 2008/09 economic mess, but that was mostly weathered very well. A recent change occurred this past winter; a new managing partner took on the role previously held by Bob Van Brocklin. It is too soon to tell if this will be a positive or negative influence on morale.

Cons

There have been too many anecdotal reports of staff compensation falling behind the competition from people who have ended up leaving; so far, that issue hasn't been addressed by management, although the need to do so was acknowledged two years ago.
