Thank you for your review! We shop our insurance every year to ensure our rates are as low as possible for our team. Currently, we seed employees’ health savings accounts by $1,000 annually to help offset the cost of the high deductible!

-Commision on top of salary -Meeting new customers -Coworkers

Cons

-Demanding supervisors -Managers and Assistant Managers do everything, from cleaning washrooms to cleaning units -Shovel snow from in front of outdoor unit doors during winter months (back breaking) -No cleaning staff, managers and assistant managers are expected to do everything -Each site has only one "manager" and an "assistant manager", no one else -Upward mobility in this company is extremely low

Thank you for your response. Our Store Manager and Assistant Manager positions can be demanding, but we are very transparent about that before we offer anyone the position. In our interviews, we clearly go over all expectations, including the less than glamorous aspects. But we offer many perks to help make those things not so bad. We provide uniforms for our store staff, including heavy winter coats! With each location only have one manager and one assistant manager, these leaves more commissions up for grabs!

Thank you for your feedback! We know it can be rough working outside during the winter months, especially in Iowa! StorageMart provides workwear for its field staff, including heavy winter coats to help make the outside duties more bearable.
