Pros

First and foremost, the tight knit nature of the organization. Several companies have multiple departments in the same office, but i've yet to experience to cross-functional collaboration and synergy that happens at STORD. The people and culture make the most challenging days manageable. The business model also is a perfect market fit for enterprise and mid-market shippers who are seeking to simplify and standardize their global supply chains. There is absolutely unlimited potential to succeed in this space and the teams at STORD are fully capable of disrupting the status quo. Transparency and candor are very well received and encouraged!

Cons

Typical startup growing pains at times, but the organization does a good job at making adjustments before things reach breaking points. Perks are not quite at bay area tech company level, but have been improving. There are no red flags as of yet for a company at this early stage!

Pros

The culture at STORD is incomparable. The work is fun and challenging. I have worked at many different kinds of companies in the past. I was always missing the autonomy and challenge that I desired. Now, I have a new project every week that has huge impacts across the firm. I don't have anyone micromanaging or looking over my shoulder so I feel like my opinion is truly valued and my background is respected. Everyone here has an amazing energy. There are obviously going to be bad apples anywhere but the leadership team has been fantastic at recognizing issues and tackling them proactively.

Cons

The pay may not be top of the market but that is understandable at an early stage start-up. If you are going to join STORD, you have to understand that the pay isn't the reason to join, it is the opportunity. There is exponential career growth potential here. If you can display that you are willing to do the work and will personally develop to make the entire team successful, you can make your career into what you want it to be. But it is HARD work. You cannot come to this company and slack off because it will be obvious very quickly. Everyone here is entrepreneurial-minded and is willing to grind to make their goals happen.
