Pros

I walk into StrataTech every day knowing that my work has a direct impact on people’s lives. Getting to read and hear about graduates’ success stories makes me realize I am helping make a difference in the world. I also have a great boss, a reliable team, and friendly coworkers who make working here enjoyable and comfortable. We work hard toward our goals, but we still have time to chat and laugh during the day-to-day. There are always opportunities to learn new things, both in my role and about our industry. No idea gets stuck in red tape either; I’ve watched my own suggestions grow from discussions in meetings to strategies and tactics we use every day. Leadership has also worked hard to make sure employees get paid well, have good benefits, and have opportunities for upward growth and advancement within the company. The CEO has said several times she wants to make this company one that its employees can retire from.

Cons

Sometimes processes and communication can get lost or disjointed. My team is small and works with a lot of different vendors, so you need to be able to keep track of many different conversations. StrataTech is a fast-growing company with big plans, so growing pains are to be expected.

Pros

The leadership team is always open to suggestions and new ideas. Upper management is extremely supportive when it comes to personal and career growth.

Cons

It's hard to see the impact we are making since we aren't on-site at the campus. It can sometimes feel like there is a divide between the corporate office and the campus locations.
