Unfortunately, after the former owners were bought out all the pros were gone.

Cons

Too many to list ultimately was let go for informing an employee to call corporate about something unlawful that they were doing plant wide to numerous employees. Shortly after we were both let go. Later heard they had a company meeting that whistleblowers would not be tolerated. Needless to say, they have been visited by a couple of government agencies since with a lot of unanswered questions.

The personnel are very nice and there is quite a few challenging projects to work on.

Cons

The corporate red tape is so ridiculous and they don't value engineers. It is hard to move up in the company without moving to Decatur IL

Stable Industry that is growing Decent pay with a good raise every year Good retirement and FSA matching Good benefits

Cons

Corporate and upper management does not seem to plan well. Engineers only start with 2 weeks of vacation while ADM counterparts start with 3. Can be placed "on loan" to another plant nearly indefinitely.
