World Class People Doing Great Work - Contribution & Opportunity
Pros
The people I get to work with day in and day out are truly world class; from colleagues, to leadership, to clients and prospects. The leadership team cares deeply about creating a culture that inspires folks to do their best work. Individuals work with a high level of care. This place is as real as it gets. From a sales person's perspective, my favorite aspect is the ability to contribute to a growing company in a big way. I've never felt micro-managed or like just a cog in the wheel. You can't hide from your work here because everyone's work is important and client facing. If you are interested in punching the clock, doing the bare minimum, and relying on management to layout your day, you should probably look elsewhere. If you are self-motivated, self-reliant, trustworthy, and willing to push your comfort zone, then you will be rewarded and SIS may be a great fit! I mentioned clients/prospects... there is HUGE potential and opportunity for growth in our space. It is fulfilling to build relationships and have meaningful conversations with the people in this industry. The positive impact SIS has on it's customers is rewarding and often transformative for both organizations. That is a lot of fun to be a part of. I've always felt valued as an individual and treated with respect. The ongoing training with a blended focus on both personal and career development seems unmatched and uncommon. I've got many friends/relatives who are impressed when I share stories and ideas from the company wide training provided at SIS. This organization also has an active philanthropy arm that invites employees to participate in various programs/outings/campaigns to give back to the community. These are typically great opportunities for team members to contribute and demonstrate their skill set outside of their particular "day-to-day" role.
Cons
It will be difficult to stick around long if you aren't ready to jump in with both feet.
