If you're considering employment with this company, DON'T. This company is a total joke. They don't support their employees; they're a defense contractor so they'll only side with the government. If there's a scenario of you the employee vs. the government, this company will automatically side with the company because they have a contractual obligation to fulfill and the government is paying them. Every year in July, we were up for renewal and there's a lack of stability working for them and I wouldnt know whether or not I was getting extended until literally the last week of July. Job security is non existent and I never got an initial counseling or any type of annual counseling or performance review (something you would expect from a "professional organization"). For my position, it was specifically written that an employee had to be at the desk during the 8 hour duty day (pure example of micromanagement). Management wouldn't change this verbiage on our contract and we were specifically told employees had to stagger lunch times. I've had to submit endless amounts of reports to management because the government representative didn't trust us, which in turn implied the company didn't trust their employees. I was in an overseas position and during my entire duration of employment, I didn't feel like I was an employee rather a quota to fulfill for a defense contract. For my position, the salary was non negotiable (red flag in my opinion). For my position there was a HUGE turnover rate (approximately 50%) within my first year with this company. If you want a JOB, sure take the offer to be employed by them but there's no career advancement/professional growth being employed by them. I've had approximately 4-5 Program Managers that all quit because they couldn't deal with the micromanagement If you're seriously considering employment with this company, use it as a stepping stone for government employment and know that its not permanent. If you want to be treated with dignity and respect and be an actual "employee"- seek employment with Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton, Raytheon, etc.
