      Pros

      Strategic has great Intensive in home and Mental Health skill building programs in Danville area.

      Cons

      New senior management has changed scope of programming and caused a decline in staff and program numbers. Compensation and benefits are below what other similar agencies offer. High staff turn over rate.

All change, especially in the area of workplace management, can be difficult. Those recent changes in senior management seem to be yielding agency-wide growth and cohesiveness, and we look forward to what is to come.

      Pros

      The team at Strategic Therapy Associates is dedicated to helping clients. If you believe in a humanistic approach that helps clients lead happier lives, this is the place for you. I really appreciate having this opportunity and growing as a professional. All of the staff are fun to work with, and supervisors are supportive and helpful.

      Cons

      Working with children with emotional and behavioral problems is challenging. While very rewarding, it is not "easy" work.

      Pros

      Strategic is a wonderful place to work. Very family oriented. Passionate about care of clients and also staff. It is most rewarding to be part of successful outcomes with families…and even the smallest baby steps are celebrated. The community is very fortunate to have Strategic’s supportive services.

      Cons

      Strategic needs to enlarge its serving area to help more children and families.
