Pros

Seeing a few friendly faces & earning a paycheck.

Cons

Strange Management! I work for an individual that has clearly never been a manager, has no leadership skills, provides pacifistic responses to escalations in need of attention, makes excuses instead of resolving problems, displays unprofessional juvenile behavior, gets angry when honest feedback is provided, gossips, responds to employee questions with “I don’t know,” is not a person of their word, consistently lies with a straight face & argues that conversations have transpired when in fact they have never taken place. There seems to be questionable Management at all levels of this company & they appear to have their eyes wide shut towards their own behavior & actions or lack there of in most cases.

Straumann Group Response

Hi, this is Linda Farr, VP of HR for Straumann North America. As part of the Cultural Journey, our organization’s endeavor to create a high performance culture through every employee’s expression of our core behaviors, we are moving to a more transparent approach where we can be honest with each other in a respectful, professional manner. Clearly, this is not what you are experiencing. We advocate for a player/learner mentality versus a victim/knower mindset; so if something isn’t going well, we encourage you to speak with someone about it. I can’t help you through an anonymous post on Glassdoor, but we can find meaningful resolution if we sit down over coffee. I personally invite you for a discussion to provide you with some HR support. You may also be able to guide me in ways that will help your manager with the goal of continually improving our interpersonal interactions. Please contact me at 978-747-2708 or via eMail at your earliest convenience. Kind regards Linda --- Linda Farr VP Human Resources Straumann North America

Pros

Straumann has a great open-door policy. The different teams work very well together. The environment here is fast-paced and challenging, which brings out the best in folks. The opportunity to advance is there, and the hardest workers always shine. Politics are not involved when it comes to internal decisions!

Cons

The company is constantly trying to stay one step ahead of the competition, so things can change on a dime. You HAVE to be agile to work here!

Our success is attributable in large part to our ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment, and, we appreciate the hard work of our teams who make that possible everyday.
