Pros

Having seen the inside of this so called business I can promise you the company does not care about the members or workers at all. Members are trapped in difficult to cancel contracts (why is cash discouraged? They want credit card #s to keep running month after month). Employees are trapped in a ridiculous year long payback scheme on a wildly overpriced training (you’re gonna pay 800+ bucks for approximately 12 hours of very basic stretching? Comparable programs run around $200). You’ll be underpayed and have to either open or close all the time, do tons of cleaning, do calls, track down no shows, write notes in between clients, sell products (required) and more. You can do this job independently or at a gym but RUN from StretchLab.

Cons

Basically a big box gym. Extremely expensive. Hard to maintain clients because of cost & scheduling. Even worse that they charge so much & pay so little!

Pros

The clients/members are genuinely great.

Cons

Management at StretchLab Solana Beach/Del Mar creates a toxic and unsupportive work environment. Pay is so low that most employees need multiple jobs just to get by. Leadership is manipulative and narcissistic, often gossiping about both staff and clients, which fosters a hostile atmosphere. Many employees who gave proper notice were treated poorly — forced out earlier than their planned final day, pressured with inaccurate paperwork, or made to feel blamed for leaving despite offering more than enough transition time. Leadership also has a pattern of avoiding accountability and handling resignations in an unprofessional, dismissive way. The combination of high turnover, low pay, and lack of respect from management makes it nearly impossible to thrive or feel supported in this workplace.
