Lack of diversity in positions of influence, slow moving on innovative cultural change, over-credentialing for roles, almost no diversity in human resources, lots of things that are done because they've always been done that way

While decisions can be made fast, this seems to apply mostly to those in the "inner circle" of leadership. That group of people is empowered to make decisions. Those who are outside of the inner circle are made to feel excluded and are uncertain about their position within the organization. The trauma organization is lead by former sales reps without a proper marketing balance. There is lack of respect and understanding for the processes necessary to bring products to market in a highly regulated industry. You cannot elicit change in the NPD process if you do not understand NPD. Lack of diversity. Organization is lead by white men with similar backgrounds with the occasional token female. There is limited diversity of thought.
