Pros

flexibility and freedom; they gave you enough room to excel as long as you're good at time management and not lazy

Cons

numbers matter; management doesn't care if something out of your control happened at the c-suite level to change device contracts. You still need to hit your quota if you want to still have a job

Pros

-Great Company -Great Benefits - Very Proud to be apart of the Stryker family

Cons

-Associates get treated terrible, we are basically there so the Sr. Rep doesn’t have to do anything. I have been here for over a year now and have not learned one thing from from the Sr. Rep. Never been on a sales call or ever heard him talk about product. The Company does not care though because he hits his numbers. They need to be careful who they give Associates too and send them to a course on leadership. Zero work life balance

Slowly getting worse every year

Pros

Reverse commute Good mix of people; young and diverse (but mostly white college grads) Strong name with a good reputation Used to have a great culture Lots of opportunities to move around to different roles or departments

Cons

Does not pay well - especially in the Bay Area. Promotions happen a lot on who you know, not what you know. The company felt more open/welcoming and less stuffy/corporate a few years ago. People walk on egg shells now. Lay offs have started coming and there really is no rhyme or reason to them. Management makes questionable decisions on a regular basis. Worthless mandatory trainings occur every year or so and no one feels like they improve anything or even help at all. A lot of really talented people have left the company recently and it has hurt morale, innovation and direction.
