Sadly, many people I worked with were not as skilled as I was. The company needs to rethink its hiring strategies and hire people who know they are doing when they are at the job. Skilled people will make the workplace effiecient

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We do recognize that we have had a challenge finding skilled workers to operate our machines. This is a challenge that a lot of manufacturing plants are facing at this time. Our goal is always to find skilled workers, but due to the unique nature of our roll forming business, we also offer opportunities for candidates to begin their manufacturing career with us with entry level positions. We recognize this strategy poses unique challenges to the rest of the team, which is why we are working on training and educating the new team members we have to get them up to speed as quickly as possible! They give out pies at Thanksgiving to everyone and award the one employee each month with Studco's Best. My boss recognizes and thanks me when I work extra or go above and beyond.

Cons

Not enough experienced machine operators on the floor.

The main problem of this company is people who are unskilled and still got the job. Though they try, their lack of experience makes things tough. Also, it was a fast-paced environment where things moved too quickly and too often
