Worst Leadership Ever. Avoid.

Pros

Food trucks at happy hour. CalTrain passes.

Cons

Everything you see from the content people on here is accurate but it pertains to every other department. They intentionally grossly underpay employees. The head of HR has no idea what anyone's job actually entails, yet she determines salaries. The CEO gave an emotional speech about how his name is pronounced at an all-hands meeting (Seriously). I'm sorry, but no one feels sorry for you when you grossly underpay them.

Nice coworkers, bad management

Pros

Some really nice people, decent work life balance.

Cons

Lack of organization by management and exec, some managers have a very hands off approach and don't seem to want to be managers. My team and I were blindsided when a member of our team was fired for "performance reasons" when they had been doing great and had been given zero performance based feedback or improvement plan by their manager. Slow moving, risk averse culture - antithesis to most Silicon Valley start ups. Top down approach to decision making, lower ranked staff members are only valued for their following of directions rather than their ideas. Relatively low pay compared to other companies in different industries - they use the mission oriented culture to underpay their employees.

Pros

Working remotely is possible but that doesn't make anything less stressful.

Cons

The requirements were terribly exaggerated and unreasonable, hours were insane, and work conditions was brutal!! This is not a good and healthy place to work!!
