Pros

What you can expect working for StyleCraft Homes: On-going sales training, state of the company meetings informing everyone with how we are performing, how we are growing, and where we are headed. There's transparency, accountability, pay for performance with trimester reviews, stability, and job security. Lastly, we have fun. We have quarterly company events promoting team building. A very nice morale booster!

Cons

If you do not aspire to be an expert in your "new construction community/neighborhood" and see it succeed, this may not be the company for you. You are given the tools for success, so accountability is taken seriously. Working 3 weekends out of the month is also required as weekends bring the most visitors to your model home.

Pros

Our management team is truly excellent. They care a lot about their employees but care more about doing things the right way. They push us. I love this. I have worked for supervisors in sales in the past that only cared about the number of sales you put up on the board. If you were selling, it didn't if you did the remainder of your job. I love that our management team holds us to a higher standard and doesn't just care about the sales being made (and trust me- they do care about that as it is full commission job) but they also put emphasis on every other aspect of you job. I love this. I sought out a company that likes to invest in the training and growth of their employees- by pushing me to be the best in all aspects of my job, I have grown so much and learned exponentially more than I would have in a different environment. I am encourage to own my community, I am encourage to ask for help, I am encourage to have relationships with my clients and with realtors. I am overall encouraged every single day. I also love that the company truly is innovative. I recently purchased a new construction home from a different builder. I can tell you right now that StyleCraft is far advanced in many ways- we invest in our website, they invest money into tools that help us sell like our interactive sales centers, I could go on and on but our dedication as a company to always bettering ourselves, shows in so many facets. I appreciate that the president and vice president have quarterly meetings to show the rest of the company the direction we are headed- it makes everyone feel like they are a part of the team and it helps to showcase how each member of our company impacts us. We also have awesome pay, we are rewarded in bonuses for performance, we are recognized for a job well done, we have great benefits and a good 401K program. Overall, I really enjoy this company and would recommend.

Cons

If you are looking for a company where you get by doing the bare minimum, don't even apply. This isn't the company for you. As I stated above, they care. They care that you do more than just sell a home, they expect you to earn the pay they are giving you. and I wouldn't have it any other way. the only true negative is that we do work weekends so our days off are during the week. While the sales managers do their absolute best to respect your days off, it is hard not to get calls on your weekdays off. Again it is not out of a lack of respect on their part, it is just how the cookie crumbles.
