      Pros

      It was a weekend job while I was in school so it was convenient

      Cons

      It was a sugar factory so it sweetlow flying in the air so it was in your mouth and it was disgusting. The shift lead was stalking me and it was really weird. Hard work for little pay with long hours.

      • Strong Ownership • Great benefits • Great future growth potential • Pay is decent for location • Company is diversified and will continue to be a strong player in the industry • The Dry Division is stable and managed well • Hourly workers are knowledgeable about their jobs and works hard • Decent OJT training protocols • Open Door Policy

      Cons

      • Constant turnover in the Bakery management • Lack of mentor-ship/management development (Entire Company) • Has tried many things (unsuccessfully) without the buy-in of the mid-level leaders • Upper management is notorious for putting the “Cart” before the “Horse” with their ideas • Upper Management does not listen to mid-level managers • Company may be going in the wrong direction with current leadership • Work/Life balance is talked about but not improved at all • Lots of favoritism by upper management • New POD (self-directed teams) is pushing a lot of experienced associates to leave the company • Lots of Over Time even with 12 hour shifts (5 & 6 days of work per week)

      Decent healthcare plan 401k match for up to 4%.

      Cons

      Your forced or coerced to work too much overtime. No incentives for hard workers. You have to kiss management's butt to get a merit raise.
