Pros

Perfect place to work if you don’t mind having no autonomy of any kind.

Cons

Toxic and manipulative senior leadership team- especially the COO and Director of Nursing for the ASCs. The leadership style is micromanaging and the ASC Manager is not able to work at the top of their license. Duties are more in line with what you’d expect of a charge nurse role rather than a Managerial role. Biggest task is daily staffing, which requires daily lengthy meetings with other ASC Managers for OR and Pre/post because the ASCs have to share staff due to being unable to retain good employees. I have worked in healthcare for many years but have never been a part of a team who treated people so terribly.
