Pros

They have a really pretty lobby?

Cons

The work environment for APPs is incredibly toxic. They force unsafe work environments and make YOU the bad guy when you voice concerns. They refuse to give you PTO or sick leave during a pandemic? How is that possibly ethical? Work you until you’re dead inside and if you get sick, you’re out of luck. They have the Summit Strong, family values facade that they use to force you into practices you don’t agree with, but whenever you need the support of ANY of the management or executives, you’re on your own. This is a hospital by executives, for executives. Profit before patients. Everything before providers. Staff is leaving en masse. If you are even considering this place STAY AWAY.

Smoke and Mirrors

Pros

Coworkers Location Building design Not a whole lot

Cons

Uneducated and under experienced management. Benefits are an absolute joke. Less than 1% match into retirement from employer. Staff got a $1 k bonus while managers and admin received a significant bonus. Managers allowing bullies in their departments. HR has absolutely no clue what they are doing and violate so many employees privacy and rights. HR makes up rules that aren’t even a thing. Underpaid staff. A union that is now in the pockets of management and admin. No longer a presence after being voted FOR! So many violations with policies, procedures and billing. Surprised this place hasn’t been shut down. CEO more worried about listening to the drunks of the staff at “charity” events. Management takes a siesta mid afternoon to have a management “meeting” while drinking. All smoke and mirrors. Most of management are in their jobs because they can’t make it anywhere else. Most of the OG staff are leaving, if they haven’t already. Run, don’t walk away from this place.

Leadership Concerns

Pros

Amazing individuals striving to do wonderful work in healthcare and the community. Great vision and beautiful buildings!

Cons

Growing at a fast rate the culture has shifted to being very reactive complicated by the fact it faces leadership compression. When executives and senior leaders are down in the weeds of the operations, it pushes leadership roles down compressing the ability for leaders and employees to do meaningful work at the full scope of their role and skill set, driving employees to practice the "hair on fire" methodology. People do not feel valued for their work.
