Work was not always engaging The organization went through a restructuring with fewer resources at the home office. I would have stayed otherwise.

Passionate colleagues, small school model, ability to take on leadership roles quickly, project based learning

Cons

Undercompensated compared to area schools/amount of work expected, hard to maintain any work/life balance, high turnover amongst staff, a lot of new initiatives are started but not followed through on, administration and upper management hostile to ideas of collective solidarity/action from staff and/or students, a lot of talk about equity and ABAR principles with little substantive action, consensus model for compensation review is opaque with upper management hoarding knowledge and power in process.
