Everything in Sun's campground business depends on the quality of the regional director who oversees the campground general managers. If that person is awful, life is miserable. None of the 3 regional managers I worked with was very good.

Pros

I believe Sun and its main players try to be a good company. They have good benefits and PTO. They have been emphasizing diversity and equity along with the rest of the world. I feel as if the culture at the corporate office is healthy and the people that work there are genuine and willing to help.

Cons

Profits and shareholders will always be the main priority. While it is understandable for a public company the budgeting does not allow for much room to deal with the needs of the communities. The workload in the field is tremendous and Community Managers wear a lot of hats. DVP's and SVP's are always ready to chop heads yet they offer little support.
