Pros

Company is stable. Corporate office has tons of perks - on site gym, trainers, yoga instructors, "team building events" off site, break area with yogurt machine. Promote from within the company first before looking outside the company.

Cons

Turnover is tremendous. They keep mediocre to substandard employees on the community level and invent reasons to terminate hard working dependable employees. Do not monitor community managers work ethic at all. Management is only focus is numbers and how to make them look good while fattening their pocketbooks.

Pros

Annual raises. Focus on career advancement.

Cons

No Benefits for part-time workers. "Family" mentality. Office drama. Inexperienced managers on the front line. Management is too bloated, and no one knows what's going on. Too many things fall through the cracks. Little support for front-line workers who are treated as disposable. Up to your manager for the amount you get for an annual raise which is prone to favoritism. No ability to give your manager a performance review.

Pros

On-site gym and Starbucks. Holidays are reasonable.

Cons

The company has grown but done little to increase staff or support but merely dumped more on their existing employees, expecting more and giving little in return, small bonuses and low pay increases add to the frustration. Promotions are only for the select few. You are measured on how vocal you are during meetings, and not your overall work rate. Beware of buses as you will get thrown under them often by upper management, it’s all very cliquey and if you're not a manager or above, you have no voice as nobody will listen to your ideas or opinions. HR does nothing for you. On the plus side, benefits are reasonable, holidays and vacation time is ok and most co-workers are decent people. On-site gym and Starbucks is also a plus. Good stepping stone, then move on to somewhere that’ll appreciate you more.
