      Low pay, really work hard, still never move up the chain

      Pros

      It's employment. But after working there for as long as I have, I can't say it was 100% worth it. The pay is low for a major city like Atlanta, so you really didn't feel like you're ever getting ahead. But it is a job.

      Cons

      You can be very knowledgeable, work very hard, and put customers first, but honestly, if you don't make those 'back room' connections to be considered a 'management darling', the level of talent you bring to the table doesn't matter. You'll just work really hard, and never go anywhere.

      Pros

      Great location and accessible via Marta. A lot of great people.

      Cons

      Minimal work-life balance. Average 50-60 hrs a week per 7 day week. Use of personal cell phones & data plans expected. No expense account. Bring your own coffee, tea, etc. Parking is expensive, about 100/month. Very political environment. Leadership is outdated & focused on today not a growth horizon of 3-5 years. Pay is average.

      Pros

      They have a local credit team which helps get answers/decisions quicker on deals.

      Cons

      This has to be the worst company to work for. I had never felt as unhappy as I did in my whole career. it's simply an oppressive culture. No wonder they have so much turnaround.
