Stressful Work Environment

Pros

The people and clients can be extremely pleasant and are pretty much the reason a lot of employees stay other than financial obligations. A lot of room for over time in understaffed branches

Cons

The fear of losing your job due to lack of production when it comes to referrals and sales is always present. We don't receive raises unless we achieve our corporate set sales goals. Unless you're in a city that constantly has people moving into it and that has constant population expansion, you won't meet your goals which means you'll be making the same set amount you were making when you were hired for an extended period of time. Branches are usually very understaffed to the point where employees miss lunch. The stress levels start affecting you physically and mentally

great place to work, I suffered a massive stroke due to the sales demands, They fired me because I was disabled from the stroke I had, tried to sue them my lawyer said the Bank was too big To litigate against them .They treat you like gold just as long you don't get sick. My life is all messed up because the stroke I had,I made millions for that bank over 13 years of service,They treated me like a stepchild, they selfish and a greedy company to work for

Pros

competitive pay, opportunity for meaningful bonus.

Cons

middle to upper-middle management of the branch network has now been filled heavily with former Wells Fargo management. And with that, the Wells Fargo hard-core sales business model. widget counting disguised as something else. The goals are not adjusted for regional/local demographics. They don't care about the employee. actions speak louder than words.
