Pros

Regional Bank Good reputation in the community. Great clients! Has been in the Columbus Market for 100+ years. Good historical presence .

Cons

Not the bank they use to be!!! Get ready for "how many products can you PUSH on people today?!!" They recently reduced staff and expect top tier Client service scores.

Pros

No cost training offered to broaden your horizons. Good benefits regarding health insurance and 401K with company match.

Cons

Unfortunaly the cons outweigh the pros from my perspective. During reviews they'll only award a max pay increase of 2%. I've worked more and have been more efficient & productive than all other 25 employees in my group yet we all get the same pay raise. When being promoted, the company will only allow a max 8% increase on your salary. This is a huge red flag because I earned the promotion for performance and work ethic. According to the company salary structure; I should have gotten an increase of approximately 16K just to get the "minimum" they claim they'd pay an employee with the job grade I was offered. However, my pay increase was barely 4K.

Pros

Depending on your annual review, it is easy to move up. There are quarterly incentives when you have met your sales quota. If you are part-time, you may end up working full-time hours and not paid the proper time and a half for overtime because you are part time.

Cons

The company pushes too hard for employees to make financial sales. It got to the point to where we were soliciting through phone calls. In addition, even when your vacation is approved, you may still be scheduled to work a Saturday. When this happens, you would have to find someone to fill in for you. That's not my job. It defeats the purpose of the requested time off calendar. For all of the work SunTrust has you do, they don't pay you what you deserve.
