Pros

Suntrust does provide wonderful solutions to the clients and you are able to be hands on with different lines of businesses if you have the time.

Cons

Incentive guide is a joke. If you get a manager that doesn't know how to coach or plays politics, it will be very difficult to stay with the company. They don't like employees who are opinionated or they feel threatened that person can take their place since managers have goals to achieve as well. Some managers will even take all the business from the lobby and teller referrals while the bankers can only get business through cold calling. There is a lot of unethical behaviors this company does to stay afloat.

Pros

Great benefits, great work/life balance and mostly great people.

Cons

Leadership is too micromanaging and always looking to find ways get more and more productivity and measurements of productivity from their people instead of looking at the important contributions that are made by dedicated teammates and letting them thrive. Watch your back at all times.....the people seemingly closest to you are the ones that will stab you in the back to get ahead. The corporate bullish*t and games are too much in this workplace.

Pros

Decent benefits, compensation is generally inline with the industry.

Cons

If you are female, forget about achieving a leadership position. The company keeps the dead weight employed at the expense of new ideas and growth.
