Pros

There are great CNAs/social workers/chaplains/RNs that work here and are aimed at supportive and comfort care.

Cons

Management claims they prioritize communication and support for CNAs. Yet, they neglect to fulfill any of these claims. Their real priorities are based on new admits each month rather than proper care for current patients.

Great Company, Pay SUCKS

Pros

The days and hours you get to work. Amazing support from management, they actually listen and care, they treat you like family. Mileage reimbursement Guaranteed hours PTO

Cons

Really don't pay you for what you are actually worth. Issues with missing hours, mileage, pay on paychecks, so now I have to waste my time keeping track of my actual totals from beginning to end pay period. Not guaranteed any kind of raise, no matter how many months or years with them.

Pros

Enjoyed hospice work and helping patients.

Cons

Micromanagement, no overtime allowed, ever changing policies, disorganized management. When I first started here, my manager was wonderful and strong clinically. It seemed like she was pushed out and new manager and director took over who clearly didn't understand the company, roles, and processes. I was told they could not help even with simple tasks when we are forever short-staffed and could not provide support even picking up the phone ringing off the hook, and just laughed about it. It's not funny to see staff constantly overloaded, staff not carrying their work load not held accountable. Lower weekend management quick to raise their voices and assume staff is doing the wrong things or talk about other staff openly and critically without understanding common hospice workflow and processes. Turned into a numbers game and low morale. Lots of coworkers burnt out, emotionally breaking down at work, and snapping at others. Office constantly having power outages and cockroaches. High workload and high turnover.
