Really Worried about the Future of SUNRISE .....Mr. Ordan is getting it ready to SELL - Hopefully someone will buy it !

Pros

When I first joined the company - the Culture was awesome and fit like a glove . After 10 years all that has changed - employees/and residents are last on the list and BOTTOM LINE is first ! Very confusing now with all of the Aquisitions and "Downsizing " ....for the first time in my career I feel like the Company I held so dear to my heart and " always assumed the best intentions " is failing me . Trust level has gone from 10 + to below a 0.

Cons

Other Senior Living Companies have copied and duplicated Signatures - run more efficiently and treat Employees with awesome benefits and perks . Sad to say - I am going to probably be out of a great job soon . I have read stock reports and market analysis .....then listened to all of the Conference Call jibber jabber at Sunrise - total Conflict

Good opportunities for growth, support from highest levels (up to CEO) for employee satisfaction

Cons

Company going through financial hardships due to very poor management by prior leadership team. Necessary sacrifices have been made but this is a short-term issue. Once the company is back on its feet it will be wildly successful again. Severely lagging behind in technology. Again, this is a direct result of very poor management by the prior leadership team. Bringing the company back up to speed in all areas will take substantial time and a good amount of money. No one should expect this to happen quickly.
