      Supermicro is an exciting place to work if you enjoy strong technology, fast pace, and meaningful impact. It has a true startup vibe despite being a 30+ year company that’s actively repositioning itself as a well-rounded global leader in HPC, AI, and datacenter infrastructure. You get to work alongside some of the best and brightest minds in the server and HPC space, and there are real opportunities to grow your career quickly if you’re motivated and willing to take ownership. Equity can also make overall compensation competitive if the stock price continues to stabilize and perform.

      Cons

      The environment is very no-frills — benefits are fairly bare-bones compared to many Silicon Valley companies. There is also a strong short-term mindset driven by market pressure and stock volatility, which can make it harder to consistently invest in longer-term strategy and sustained transformation.
