      Growing market share, maturing business processes, taking company to the next level. Adding CPK Cafe was a great move for employees.

      Strong Taiwanese culture, manadarin spoken in many working meetings, sometimes hard to relate as westerner / silicon valley citizen..

      1. Decent opportunity and flexibility to learn and accomplish what you want. 2. Good advancement and salary depending on how much you willing to put in. 3. Company have potential but needs a re-org to replace non-qualify manager on all level.

      1. Unreasonable hours and performance metric. 2. Most upper management don't have right skill set to manage. 3. Only 10% of people really working and keeping the company alive.

      Some very sharp people work at superMicro

      Cons

      You are expected to work 6 days a week, They will not hire people with small children because it takes away from your work responsibilities. They actually turned down great potential hire that everyone wanted to hire just because he said he was looking for a company that offered work life balance The hiring manager said to me "find me someone that is single, can do the job, will work for nothing and we can drive into the ground..." "I don't want to hire some that's better than me and can take my job. If I lose my job then you will lose your too.." That is the running norm at SuperMicro
