Pros

1. Some colleagues are genuinely kind and collaborative. 2. A few teams appear organized from the outside.

Cons

Very high turnover: the 7–8 person team I worked for lost 5 employees within one year (~70% turnover). Hence are the reasons. 1. Management obsessed with micromanagement, lacking vision: Internal focus is on trivial details, such as email wording, subject line formats, attachment naming rather than strategic priorities or team development. Emails have been recalled after being read simply due to formatting preferences. 2. Lack of trust and control over communication: Managers frequently dominate external meetings despite limited project knowledge, preventing knowledgeable team members from speaking. Mistakes caused by this approach are later delegated downward. 3. Emphasis on obedience and meaningless long hours: Formalistic long hours are rewarded over real productivity. During a power outage near the end of the workday, the team was required to remain onsite until official hours ended, without electricity or internet. 4. Prevalence of a bullying culture: Exclusion and intimidation are common. Colleagues have been skipped during self-introductions in external meetings, excluded from team dinners, or threatened during departure handovers. 5. Lack of basic humanity and professional decency: There are cases of contract termination with minimal notice (just over one month remaining), disregarding visa implications or personal circumstances, leaving affected employees in difficult situations.
