If the supervisor tries to take the meal but is stopped by security, they will retaliate—making work difficult, humiliating employees, smearing their reputation, and assigning ten times the workload. They get extremely angry over meals, even stomping their feet, claiming they are acting in the company’s best interest. 5. Supervisors frequently lie. 6. Toxic colleagues spread rumors, block others from getting promoted, and manipulate supervisors into bullying coworkers. 7. If someone faces workplace bullying, they either burn out or leave. The bullying supervisor will never change—only escalate their behavior.
