Flexible Team, But Outdated Tools and Long Hours
Pros
The team I work with is understanding and flexible when it comes to personal matters like doctor appointments or family emergencies, which I really appreciate. However, the company is significantly understaffed, and I often had to work long hours, including weekends and off-hours. I didn’t plan to stay long, but the RSUs were a strong incentive to stick around.
Cons
One of the biggest frustrations is the reliance on outdated tools, chosen mostly for cost-saving reasons. This leads to numerous manual, tedious tasks that could be automated or engineered more efficiently if we had modern solutions. Convincing upper management to invest in better tools or processes is difficult, which creates a cycle of inefficiency. Overall, it's a place with decent people but limited vision when it comes to innovation and modernization.
