Pros

Make you feels like you are doing something really useful.

Cons

What you do doesn’t really matter. Manager keeps purchase a lot of useless tools, even toys just to make himself feels good. A lot of resources are wasted for useless purchase. Buy a lot of high end equipment for thousands of dollars and doesn’t even use. Manager come to office everyday around 11am wandering around doing nothing and assigning tasks at 8:00pm just to keep you stay late. I don’t understand why such manager can exist in this company, he has no project, engineer can cleanup shared drives, doing useless document for weeks.

Pros

Good base to start and good healthcare benefits.

Cons

Unethical business practices. Do not care about their customers or their employees. No way possible to make a commission on a regular basis and they will not explain how they calculate it. 99% Asian and they discriminate in who they hire and who get accounts based on that. Asian dialect is the primary language spoken at HQ. Those that can speak english it is poor - including the President and Founder, Charles. Bring people in from Asian countries to work cheap and house them in old houses near their office in San Jose. Cheat you on expense reports. They will lie to you in your interviews - straight out lie. Google the company and financials and see how far back they have been investigated for fraudulent financials over and over. Pay the penalty, hire new executives and do it again. Do your own homework.

Just Not a Cultural Fit

Pros

Product line is probably the most robust in the industry in terms of hardware and the ability to deliver variants of products on top of products is just stunning.

Cons

Can really be at the top of the industry food chain, but the internal cultural leadership has created a monster with massive layers of internal complexity. There are staff members here who can be amazing employees but the current middle management is poorly trained to develop cohesive functional groups that can work alongside each other.
