Pros

1. Founder and Co-Founders are smart 2. Work can be easy if you are on the right team. 3. You dont need to take any responsibilities, because your upper management wont either, any little things will escalated all the way to CEO.

Cons

1. HR is the worst I ever seen, They constantly "forgot" things that need to be done and even causing immigration issue which made one of my hire got deported. 2. "Saving money " mentality causing backend chaos. 3. Incompetent and shady senior managements that sometimes even steal form you. When they see something interesting that you have, they will "borrow" it, and hope you forgot. In the end when you ask for return, they just claim they don't remember. I have even seen a O level senior executives stealing breads from the break room.

Pros

GOT OUT WITH MY HEALTH INTACT! Job security if you're willing to keep your head down and go with the flow... as archaic, backward, and frustrating as it is. Work here if you want to gain some job experience fresh out of college but leave as soon as you find something better... and trust me, anything is better than here, unless you really just need a paycheck to survive. If you think this is a good place to work, then you are either... 1) Fresh out of college and desperately need job experience. 2) Have never worked at a REAL company with REAL management. 3) Have low expectations, values, and self-respect. 4) You are willing to put up with ANYTHING just for a paycheck and benefits. I wish I had checked Glassdoor before accepting their job offer, because all the 1 Star, negative reviews on here are spot on! Consider yourself warned!

Cons

READ THE COVID-19 RELATED REVIEWS... THEY ARE ALL TRUE! They would rather build their own solutions that don't talk to each other vs. buying a tool that would make their teams more productive. They prefer to throw more bodies at the problem instead of actually working together to agree and purchase a unified solution. No Collaborating: The teams/organizations work (and I use that term loosely) out of isolated silos and don't talk to each other. Sales teams will even compete against each other for a sale to the same end user. Because of the many silos, there is no consistency in their product's designs, serviceability, or naming conventions. They seem to relish in this type of company culture, and will tell you to forget any way you were used to doing things at other companies... They do things the Super Micro way... which IMHO, is NO WAY to run an organization, more less a company that large.

Pros

high turnover means opportunities for outsiders server industry is quite strong- the company is growing despite its many flaws

Cons

-this list could go on for quite a while so I will just list the top issues -no 401k matching - figure out your retirement on your own -a lot of micro-managing and approvals for small issues -questionable rehiring of fired employees- lack of leadership context - in 2018 supermicro was delisted from Nasdaq due to discrepancies in the 10K filing- salespeople who were artificially pumping their numbers up were fired. This alone is a good thing, get rid of bad apples. However, a number of those apples were rehired though not in their original sales positions. This is a horrid decision. -no plan to retain high performers- a lot of great people have left the company -low vacation days- I've been here years and the # of days has not increased. I was talking to a customer and exclaimed "You measure your vacation in weeks?"
