Great place to work at if you speak Mandarin

Pros

Feels like a family, people help each other out, and the environment is pretty casual.

Cons

Below average salary, and because of that this company has trouble retaining young talent. Has a high turn-around rate, people come and go quite often. Most of the ones that stay are near retiring.

Pros

nice co-workers, free breakfast and dinner (if you work after 7:00pm), they seldom fire employees. really could learn a lot if you have your career plan and you will to learn. Good for new graduates. Good for those who speak Mandarin.

Cons

long work hours( 9:00am-12:00pm, 2:00pm-7:00pm at least, & often need to come for half a day on Saturday), lots of non-technical things to do by RD engineers (BOM, go to sign different kinds of forms). RD engineers do the jobs of RD, PM, technical support, and operation. Poor management. CEO is in charge of everything. You got lower salary than your friends who work in American style companies. low efficiency. CEO's relatives are in different department to help manage the company.....pretty much the family style company

Pros

Meals if work late into evening Scream and shout your frustration like an animal

Cons

Later work hour meals being questioned by manager Unprofessional managers/sneior management Long hours of compulsory meeting - just listening to the CEO's never ending & repeating theme "contribution" but he himself has not make no contribution to improve productivity/efficiency/profitablity on his repeating speech - waste of time Required to work in the weekend Being dispised if you take paternity leave - managers withe mind set that woman gives birth to babies and that has nothing to do with their husband - legal paternity leave request were given a dirty look Very low pay - perhaps except CEO, his wife, and some top management. No support from HR with all sorts of harassment All talk and no performance required. No professional constructive contribution being required, only need to kiss up to your manager, who can decide whether you has a job/loss a job - no justification of raises, performance review etc. Whatever you contributed, if you don't like it, it's a sin.
