Pros

Supermicro has a lot of skilled and talented employees. The leaders and managers are very experienced and mine was a great mentor as well. The benefits are pretty good and although there is room to get better, I can see management hustling to be the best they can be.

Cons

There can be some workplace drama but there was drama in every company I've been to. However, the drama is usually about someone not pulling their weight in a project and not about personal issues.

- none really compared to other companies in the same industry segment/location

Cons

- - culture of terror / no career progression - no flexibility at all - only 10 days on vacation - only 40 hours of paid sick leaves - no work from home policy even if you are dying - i f yo have no sick days or vacation left they will not pay you if you get sick (like it is a hourly job rather than a full-time job) - no real perks besides medical/dental where you are still paying a monthly amount - no 401(k) match - all the software is old and internal so you WILL NOT find:Atlassian JIRA/Wiki, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Slack, G-Suite...etc - They will put meeting after hours and not allowing you to come 15 minutes later if needed - It feels like a dictatorship - Salary 20/30% lower than current market - If you get assigned RSUs they will not be vesting sooner than a year
