Pros

If you are looking for a place to be supported in your career development, look no further. This team is seeking to redefine and that is exactly what they do. Hard work is the standard but challenging each other to be the best we can be is what makes the standard exceptional. I have loved my time working here and the possibilities of how my career can develop. Managment follows through on what they say and gives updates if it's not all sunshine and rainbows. It is an open feedback forum, but you must also be prepared to receive feedback.

Cons

Most roles are 100% in office.

Thank you for sharing your experience about working for Supportworks! We agree that hard work pays off and we're committed to helping to develop our employees in their journey with us! Thank you for highlighting our feedback process. Over the years we've learned that the majority of our employees like getting regular feedback, so it's really important to us to provide it often in both formal and informal channels. Our decision to maintain an in-office environment stems from wanting our team to be able to collaborate and preserve the culture we've worked so hard to build. We have recently earned a Best Places to Work Designation for the last 4 out of 5 years and we are so proud of that honor! We know that life is busy and things come up so managers work closely with employees when flexibility is needed. We also observe Summer Friday's (between Memorial Day and Labor Day) and can head out at 3:00 pm on Friday's. Our office also closes early the day proceeding several holidays observed by the company. We thank you again for sharing your feedback and for your contributions you've made to the company!!

Pros

It's hard to narrow down the best things about working for this company, but top of the list would be the care that they take in hiring. Everyone here is an absolute pro in the the seat that they sit in, and also a delight to work with. Humility is a top character trait they hire for, and it results in a work environment that is both kind and collaborative. Unlike most companies, EQ is valued over IQ here. That being said, some of the smartest people I've ever met work here and they're doing incredible work.

There are regular check-ins, feedback processes, sincere affirmation and guidance, and endless opportunities for personal and professional development.

Supportworks is truly human-first in their focus and it’s on constant display towards their employees and the customers they serve. It’s an absolute delight to work here.

Cons

I’m suspicious that their employee retention plan includes feeding us so many snacks we physically won’t fit out the door. Still, no complaints.

Thank you for your kind words and for recognizing the intention we've put into our hiring process and towards developing a supportive work environment for our team. We believe that building a strong team starts with hiring individuals who not only excel in their roles but also possess qualities like humility, empathy, and being a strong collaborator. It's so great to hear that you appreciate those things and have had such a positive experience! Our goal is to ensure every team member feels valued, heard, and equipped to thrive both personally and professionally. To help achieve this objective we feel that regular check-ins and a formal feedback process help our employees with their professional development. Thank you for acknowledging that, as it's something that's very fundamental to our culture. As for the snacks, we do love to eat around here! Food is just one of the ways we like to celebrate and socialize with our team! Thank you again for being such a valued member of our team. We're grateful for the work you do and are committed to continuing to support your success!
